Matthew will play in Paris at L’Utopia in Montparnasse Jan. 15th.
As the new year approaches I am looking forward to a new Matthew Skoller Band CD. This is my first and main goal this year. We are in the fund raising part of the project which will start after the holidays. Vincent Bucher has already arranged 5 of my originals and we have several other songs ready to roll. More on that soon.
We are reeling from the loss of guitar great James Wheeler. He was a great artist and a beautiful person. He once hired me to play with his band The Jaguars in the late 1980’s. What an honor, he formed that band in 1963! His late brother Golden Wheeler was also on the scene back then. He was a fine harpman and singer, I miss him as well. They are together now.
On January 8th I will play the Club Joy in The Grand Casino in Baden, Switzerland with the Swiss band Rotosphere. The next night we will be at a club in Zurich. 
After this I will return to Paris and play at L’Utopia on January 15th in Paris with some of my Parisian partners. And then on the 17th I will play The Belvedere in Champagny. Small but mighty club dates with old friends in one of my favorite cities!
